PERAN TEKNOLOGI PENDIDIKAN DALAM PEMBELAJARAN

Abstrak

The rapid advancement of information technology in today’s globalized world is having a profound impact on the educational sector. As global demands evolve, it is essential for education systems to continuously adapt to technological innovations aimed at enhancing the quality of learning, especially through the integration of information and communication technology in teaching practices. This study employs a library research approach to explore this topic. Educational technology encompasses the application of scientific principles to instruction, facilitating the effective and efficient achievement of educational goals. It includes not only hardware-such as tools and equipment-but also software and the individuals involved, often referred to as "brainware. " In developing and implementing learning technologies, three fundamental principles are crucial: 1) a systematic approach, 2) a focus on the learner, and 3) maximizing the use of available learning resources. The research findings underscore the significant role educational technology plays in the learning process. Therefore, it is clear that the emergence of educational technology has become an integral part of education.
